You’ve Had A Good Run

I look for them each day, but they haven’t shown up yet.

They won’t be hard to spot because they will probably be wearing uniforms with insignia that looks something like this.

Government agencies, as we all know, are often slow to act — especially if they are newly formed bureaucracies. This new agency must rent office space, lease furniture, and have their letterhead printed. These things take time.

We may have to wait a few more months before Obama can deploy his death squads to kill your grandma — and your grandpa too!

I’m sorry that it had to come to this, but as a brainwashed Obama-ite, all I can say is:

You were warned!

Why didn’t you listen to Sarah Palin, Sen. Chuck Grassley, Michael Steele, or any of the other GOP leaders who sounded the alarm? None of these people had any reason to lie to you, right?

Well, now it’s too late, and there is a lot of work to do.

With an estimated 12.8% of the US population being 65 years of age or older, we have about thirty-nine and a half million plugs to pull.  Just imagine how much we will save in needless medical expenses.  It’s almost like a second stimulus plan!

It’s not all good news though.

I’m afraid that we may need to redo the census once we’re done. Florida will probably lose a lot of House seats because of this.

Sorry, Grandma — you’ve had a good run.

I don’t like to get involved in political discussions but I have to say you have an entertaining way of sharing your opinions! Sorry, Grandma – you’ve had a good run. That’s funny.

Hi Tristan,

I understand your reluctance to get political. It can become unpleasant sometimes — especially these days. I love discussing politics (as you’ve probably noticed in about half of my posts), but I realize that it’s easy to get turned off by the anger that some folks inject into their discussions. Thanks for hanging in there with me. :) I’m glad that you got a laugh out of this one. Ray

You have a way of explaining your position without being obnoxious. I like how you inform while entertaining. The graphic one sure got my attention.
